Exemplary Teacher & Student AwardsRecognizing Worthy Educators and Students

The Kansas Masonic Foundation has generously supported Kansas Public Schools throughout our rich history, including the Exemplary Teacher and Student Awards program. The program was developed to enable Masonic Lodges throughout Kansas to honor local teachers, paraprofessionals and students.

About the Awards

Teacher, paraprofessional and student nominations are accepted year-round, and the local lodges present certificates at predetermined school events, recognizing the teachers, paraprofessionals and students for their accomplishments.

  • Exemplary Teacher and Paraprofessional Awards

    • Criteria: Your local Masonic Lodge would like to honor local teachers and paraprofessionals for their contributions to our community and to the future of our children, whether the contribution is a specific act or a lifelong career.
    • Nominations: School districts may make nominations in different ways, such as one teacher and/or paraprofessional per building or grade. The method of selection is entirely up to you! When you complete a nomination form, the local lodge will be notified of the name(s) of exemplary local teachers and/or paraprofessionals .
    • Presentation: The lodge will coordinate presenting the certificate(s) at a predetermined school event. The nomination(s) must be made at least three weeks before the presentation date.

    • Nominations: When you complete a nomination form, the local lodge will be notified of the name(s) of outstanding local students.
