Mayetta, Kansas (October 2, 2026)—The Kansas Masonic Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to benefiting Kansas communities, has partnered with Mayetta Lodge No. 393 to donate $1,000 to the Jefferson West Elementary School Lunch Program.
Founded in 1911, Mayetta Lodge No. 393 is a Kansas Masonic lodge dedicated to Freemasonry, the oldest surviving fraternal organization in the world. The lodge has 240 active members and supports various community organizations and events, including the Community Blessing Box, a self-service box that provides food and clothing items for community members in need. Previously, the lodge has also supported Mayetta Pioneer Days, Tools 4 School, and local high school After Prom activities.
“Our lodge has supported the Jefferson West Elementary School Lunch Program for the past two years,” said Jerry Crumpton, Mayetta Lodge No. 393 Treasurer. “The program helps pay for lunches for students in need.”
To continue supporting the local community, the Brothers at Mayetta Lodge No. 393 have teamed up with the Kansas Masonic Foundation to donate $1,000 to the Jefferson West Elementary School Lunch Program. The program helps cover the cost of school lunches for students who otherwise could not afford lunch. All funds donated will directly benefit students at Jefferson West Elementary School, and a formal donation announcement will take place in the coming weeks.
