Delaware Lodge No. 96 Donates $2,000 to the Wyandotte County Fair

Kansas Masonic Foundation Supports Local Kansas Masonic Lodge With 4-H Donation

Kansas City, Kansas (August 28, 2026)—The Kansas Masonic Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to benefiting Kansas communities, has partnered with Delaware Lodge No. 96 to donate $2,000 to the Wyandotte County Fair 4-H Organization.

Founded in 1870, Delaware Lodge No. 96 is a Kansas Masonic Lodge dedicated to Freemasonry, the oldest surviving fraternal organization in the world. The lodge has more than 150 members who remain highly active in the local community. Some of their most notable contributions include supporting youth programs in the Kansas City area, like the Boy Scouts of America, the International Order of the Rainbow Girls, and Job’s Daughters International, a Masonic-affiliated youth organization for girls and young women aged 10 to 20.

“Our lodge has donated to the Wyandotte County Fair 4-H for many years,” said Delaware Lodge No. 96 Secretary Nick Potter. “We have kept up the tradition of Delaware’s support for this local youth group for over five years and plan to do so for the future.”

Continuing their support of local youth, the Brothers at Delaware Lodge No. 96 have teamed up with the Kansas Masonic Foundation to donate $2,000 to the Wyandotte County Fair 4-H Organization. 4-H is the largest youth development organization in the United States, helping kids and teens learn real-world skills through hands-on projects, clubs, and camps. All funds donated will be split based on the number of 4-H participants showing their livestock. Historically, each participant receives between $60 and $70. A formal donation presentation was made on July 24, 2026.
