Wichita Masons To Host Third Annual First Responders Appreciation Day Luncheon

Kansas Masons Provide Free Meals to Local First Responders

Wichita, Kansas (May 29, 2026)—The Kansas Masonic Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to benefiting Kansas communities, has partnered with Wichita Masonic Lodges and Wichita area Freemasons to host its Third Annual First Responders Appreciation Day Luncheon in Wichita, Kansas.

This year’s First Responders Appreciation Day Luncheon will take place on Saturday, June 6th, at the Midian Shrine Center in Wichita, Kansas. The event will take place from 10:30 AM to 2 PM and is open to all First Responders in the Wichita community. Thanks to the help of Midian Shrine Chefs, who have volunteered their professional equipment and time to support this cause, all attendees will be served a warm meal in a drive-through setup, absolutely free of charge. Additionally, attendees are welcome to order delivery service to their facility, station, or substation.

“First Responders devote, dedicate, and sacrifice their lives to ensure our safety and well-being,” said Korleone Young, a member of Sunflower Lodge No. 86. “Many of those brave, loyal, and loving individuals have come from our organization. We owe them and the rest of the Wichita community our constant support, which is why we have joined forces with the Kansas Masonic Foundation to host this annual recognition and appreciation luncheon.”

To continue showing their support for the community, various Kansas Masonic Lodges from across the state have joined forces with the Kansas Masonic Foundation to raise funds to host this year’s event at absolutely no cost to attendees. All First Responders (from every agency) are welcome to attend, and no registration is required. To participate, please join us:
