Kansas Masonic Foundation Supports Local Kansas Masonic Lodge With Food Bank Donation

Harper, Kansas (November 26, 2025)—The Kansas Masonic Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to benefiting Kansas communities, has partnered with Harper Lodge No. 206 to donate $4,000 to the Harper Food Bank, an organization that distributes food items to community members in need.

Founded in 1882, Harper Lodge No. 206 is a Kansas Masonic lodge dedicated to Freemasonry, the oldest surviving fraternal organization in the world. The lodge has 110 members and is highly active in the local community. Some of their most notable contributions include selling fireworks and helping organize the Demolition Derby at the County Fair, aiding community food banks with delivery services, and raising funds for the Harper Library.

“The Harper Food Bank does a lot for our community,” said Harper Lodge No. 206 Secretary Travis Womack. “In addition to distributing food from their pantry to individuals and families in need, they also provide food boxes on Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, and we are looking forward to contributing to the cause this holiday season.”

To further their mission of assisting the community, the Brothers at Harper Lodge No. 206 have teamed up with the Kansas Masonic Foundation to donate $4,000 to the Harper Food Bank. The Harper Food Bank is an essential part of the local community, as it distributes food items to those in need and delivers specially curated food boxes during the holidays. All funds donated will help replenish the organization’s food pantry for the holiday season. A formal donation announcement was previously made at Harper Lodge No. 206 earlier this month.
