Kansas Masonic Foundation Supports Local Kansas Masonic Lodge With Senior Center Donation

Alta Vista, Kansas (March 29, 2024)—The Kansas Masonic Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to benefiting Kansas communities, has partnered with Alta Vista Lodge No. 357 to donate $3,400 to the Alta Vista Senior Citizen Center, an organization providing affordable meals to community members.

Founded in 1898, Alta Vista Lodge No. 357 is a Kansas Masonic Lodge dedicated to Freemasonry, the oldest surviving fraternal organization in the world. The lodge has 52 active members and is heavily involved in the local community. Some of its most notable contributions include assisting with the local high school After-Prom party and supporting other community events as they arise.

“The Alta Vista Senior Center benefits senior citizens in our community,” said Alta Vista Lodge No. 357 Master Alex Bolinder. “They are dedicated to serving community members and offer meals to individuals of all ages.”

To further their mission of serving the Alta Vista community, the Brothers at Alta Vista Lodge No. 357 have teamed up with the Kansas Masonic Foundation to donate $3,400 to the Alta Vista Senior Center. The funds donated will help purchase a new freezer and refrigerator, which will help the organization continue to offer weekday meals for local residents. A formal donation announcement will take place in the coming weeks.
