Kansas Masonic Foundation Supports Local Kansas Masonic Lodge With Preschool Donation

Solomon, Kansas (January 26, 2024)—The Kansas Masonic Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to benefitting Kansas communities, has partnered with Solomon City Lodge No. 105 to donate $500 to the Solomon Community Preschool.

Founded in 1871, Solomon City Lodge No. 105 is a Kansas Masonic lodge dedicated to Freemasonry, the oldest surviving fraternal organization in the world. The lodge has nearly 70 members and supports various community causes, including hosting a community dinner for local residents every June.

“Our mission as a lodge is to support our local community and assist those in need,” said Solomon City Lodge No. 105 Secretary Mitchell Foley.

To continue assisting those in need, the Brothers at Solomon City Lodge No. 105 have teamed up with the Kansas Masonic Foundation to provide a monetary donation of $500 to the Solomon Community Preschool. The school has been in operation for 30 years, and each year since its opening, Solomon City Lodge No. 105 has donated funds to assist in keeping tuition costs low for students in need. A formal donation will take place in the coming weeks.
