Keystone Lodge No. 102 Donates $1,000 to the Brown Mansion in Coffeyville

Coffeyville, Kansas (November 10, 2023)—The Kansas Masonic Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to benefiting Kansas communities, has partnered with Keystone Lodge No. 102 to donate $1,000 to the Brown Mansion.

Founded in 1871, Keystone Lodge No. 102 is a Kansas Masonic lodge dedicated to Freemasonry, the oldest surviving fraternal organization in the world. The lodge has 162 members and supports various local causes, including the Coffeyville Regional Medical Center, the local police and fire department, local animal shelters, the Boys & Girls Club, the Wounded Warriors Project, the Salvation Army, the Coffeyville High School Senior Class, and the Coffeyville College Girls Softball Team.

“The Brown Mansion is a historic mansion built by one of the founding fathers of Coffeyville,” said Keystone Lodge No. 102 Secretary Billy King. “The building is open to the public and sponsors and supports area groups and events, and they have done great things for our community!”

To further their mission of championing local organizations, the Brothers at Keystone Lodge No. 102 have teamed up with the Kansas Masonic Foundation to donate $1,000 to the Brown Mansion in Coffeyville, Kansas. The Brown Mansion was originally completed in 1904 as a three-story, 16-room mansion and is now available for private parties and guided tours. They are currently seeking funds to add to their outdoor Christmas lights display. Funds donated by Keystone Lodge No. 102 in collaboration with the Kansas Masonic Foundation will go toward purchasing exterior Christmas and event lighting. A formal donation announcement will take place in the coming weeks.
