Wichita Area Masonic Lodges Sponsor Holiday Toy Drive 2023

Wichita, Kansas (November 2, 2023)—As the philanthropic arm of Kansas Masons, the Kansas Masonic Foundation is dedicated to benefiting Kansas communities and individuals. In recent years, Kansas Masons have displayed their commitment to the success of local communities by supporting various charitable endeavors, contributing over $200,000 worth of scholarships annually to local students, offering free cancer screenings to Kansas residents through the Masonic Cancer Alliance, sponsoring the Kansas Entrepreneurial Challenge, and participating in the Kansas Community Empowerment Program.

This year, to further their commitment to the success of the local community, seven Wichita area Masonic Lodges have joined forces with One and Done Elite Skills Training and North Ash Church of the Nazarene to sponsor a holiday toy drive for families and children in need. With the help of the following Lodges, Kansas Masons have already been able to donate over $7,000 and make 700 Christmas wishes come true!

“There are so many families struggling just to put food on their tables today,” said Brother Korleone Young. “Not to mention worrying about trying to afford toys for their children this Christmas holiday. In order to make a difference, we are grateful we can rely on the support of generous individuals and businesses in our community.”

This year’s Holiday Toy Drive will take place on Saturday, December 2nd, at the North Ash Church of the Nazarene, starting at 10 a.m. Any families in need of a little extra support this holiday season are welcome to show up and “shop” the event, picking from all of the generously donated gifts. For additional details about the event or to donate, please get in touch with Brother Korleone Young by calling 316-771-9563 or emailing KorleoneYoung98@gmail.com.

While Wichita area Kansas Masonic Lodges have already pledged $7,000 to purchase 700 toys, One and Done Elite Skills Training is still accepting donations of funds and toys. All donations will go directly to children in the Wichita community, helping make this Christmas memorable!
