Kansas Masonic Foundation Supports Local Kansas Masonic Lodge With Junior Football Donation

Perry, Kansas (October 6, 2023)—The Kansas Masonic Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to benefitting Kansas communities, has partnered with Perry Lodge No. 415 to donate $2,000 to Junior Kaws Football and Cheer, programs that teach team and leadership skills through sports.

Founded in 1917, Perry Lodge No. 415 is a Kansas Masonic lodge dedicated to Freemasonry, the oldest surviving fraternal organization in the world. The lodge has 72 members and heavily supports the local community, including contributing to the community PRIDE Program, local food banks, Masonic Scholarship Awards, Kansas All-State Masonic Marching Band, the Kansas Masonic Essay Contest, and the Masonic C-Club for cancer research.

“We feel this organization will prepare our youth in community involvement and teamwork,” said Perry Lodge No. 415 Secretary Gerald Collie. “Junior Kaws Football and Cheer programs aim to unite community youth while developing and fostering on-the-field skills and valuable lifelong lessons. They are dedicated to teaching our young athletes the importance of teamwork, respect, perseverance, and self-confidence.”

Continuing with their local community support, the Brothers at Perry Lodge No. 415 have teamed up with the Kansas Masonic Foundation to donate $2,000 to the Junior Kaws Football and Cheer programs. The Brothers have previously made donations to the organization in an effort to help shape the future leaders of their communities. This year’s funds donated will help purchase new equipment due to safety reasons. A formal donation announcement will take place on November 7, 2023, in Perry, Kansas.
