Kansas Masonic Foundation Supports Local Kansas Masonic Lodge With High School Donation

Circleville, Kansas (April 21, 2023)—The Kansas Masonic Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to benefiting Kansas communities, has partnered with Circleville Lodge No. 20 to donate $1,140 to Jackson Heights High School.

Founded in 1866, Circleville Lodge No. 20 is a Kansas Masonic lodge dedicated to Freemasonry, the oldest surviving fraternal organization in the world. The lodge has 43 members and supports various local causes, including allowing Circleville senior citizens to use their lodge building for regular meetings, in addition to sponsoring students at Jackson Heights High School on their journey to the Annual Shrine Bowl Band Camp.

“Jackson Heights has a record of being an outstanding school system,” said Circleville Lodge No. 20 Secretary Stephen Banaka. “Our lodge aims to continue the good works of Freemasonry by supporting our local youth, which is why we continue to support Jackson Heights High School.”

Furthering their mission of supporting local youth, the Brothers at Circleville Lodge No. 20 have teamed up with the Kansas Masonic Foundation to provide a monetary donation of $1,140 to Jackson Heights High School. The lodge has previously contributed to the organization by sending multiple students to the Shrine Bowl Band Camp; however, this year’s funds donated will help sponsor local Veterans on the Honor Flight Program later this year. A formal donation announcement will be made in the coming weeks.
