Kansas Masonic Foundation Supports Local Kansas Masonic Lodge With Honor Flight Donation

Wichita, Kansas (November 11, 2022)—The Kansas Masonic Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to benefiting Kansas communities, has partnered with Albert Pike Lodge No. 303 to donate $2,500 to the Kansas Honor Flight Program, an organization facilitating flights for United States veterans to Washington D.C.

Founded in 1895, Albert Pike Lodge No. 303 is a Kansas Masonic lodge dedicated to Freemasonry, the oldest surviving fraternal organization in the world. The lodge has more than 600 members and supports numerous local charities, including The Arc of Sedgwick County, Shriners Hospitals for Children, the Fundamental Learning Center, Passageways and the Kansas Infant Death & SIDS (KIDS) Network, Inc. Each year, the Lodge Master chooses a different worthy charity to raise funds for.

“Our mission is to bring men together from different economic, social, and religious backgrounds, to share ideas and strengthen our communities, under the providence of God, and the tenants of faith, hope, and charity,” said Albert Pike Lodge No. 303 Lodge Administrator Mary Bloom.

Furthering their mission of bringing men together through charity, the Brothers at Albert Pike Lodge No. 303 have recently teamed up with the Kansas Masonic Foundation to donate $2,500 to the Kansas Honor Flight Program. The all-volunteer organization works to honor Kansas veterans of World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War by providing an all-expense-paid journey of honor and remembrance to visit their respective memorials in Washington, D.C. The organization also works to educate the youth and communities throughout Kansas about the impact of these historic wars. A formal donation announcement will take place in the coming months.
