Kansas Masonic Foundation Supports Local Kansas Masonic Lodge With Animal Shelter Donation

Salina, Kansas (July 25, 2022)—The Kansas Masonic Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to benefiting Kansas communities, has partnered with Caledonia Lodge No. 459 to donate $700 to the Friends of Salina Animal Shelter, a nonprofit volunteer organization aiming to help animals in the community.

Founded in 2014, Caledonia Lodge No. 459 is a Kansas Masonic lodge dedicated to Freemasonry, the oldest surviving fraternal organization in the world. The lodge has 16 members and is heavily involved in the local community by supporting the Masonic Scholarship program, Masonic Band Camp, and the local Friends of Salina Animal Shelter.

“Our lodge is an affinity lodge under the Grand Lodge of Kansas,” said Caledonia Lodge No. 459 Treasurer Mark Slubowski. “We encourage a strong commitment to our community charities, veterans, and each of our members.”

To further their mission of supporting community organizations, the Brothers at Caledonia Lodge No. 459 have teamed up with the Kansas Masonic Foundation to donate $700 to the Friends of Salina Animal Shelter. The funds donated will help provide monetary assistance to families to spay and neuter their pets, receive necessary emergency medical assistance, and help offer additional aid to pets within the community. A formal donation announcement will take place in September of 2022.
