Kansas Masonic Foundation Supports Kansas Masonic Lodge With Frisbee Golf Tournament

Girard, Kansas (February 11, 2022)—The Kansas Masonic Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to benefitting Kansas communities, has partnered with Harmony Lodge No. 93 to help host a frisbee golf tournament benefitting the Wesley House, an organization providing a safe, welcoming place for individuals and families of Crawford County.

Founded in 1870, Girard Lodge No. 93 is a Kansas Masonic lodge dedicated to Freemasonry, the oldest surviving fraternal organization in the world. The lodge has nearly 50 members and supports various organizations and events, including the local high school After Prom Party, the Senior Center, and more.

“Our mission is to help all members of our community, both young and old,” said Girard Lodge No. 93 Secretary Wallace Simmons. “We also try to support our members and families in good times and bad in order to become better people and Masons.”

Furthering their mission of helping all members of the community, the Brothers at Girard Lodge No. 93 have teamed up with the Kansas Masonic Foundation to provide a monetary donation of $200 to the Ice Bowl Benefit Tournament, a frisbee golf tournament benefiting the Wesley House. The Wesley House provides services for people experiencing hardships by offering food pantry services, help with utility costs, housing, and counseling. The event will take place on February 26, 2022, at Schlanger Park in Pittsburg, Kansas.
