Kansas Masonic Foundation Supports Local Kansas Masonic Lodge With First Call For Help Donation

Hutchinson, Kansas (December 3, 2021)—The Kansas Masonic Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to benefiting Kansas communities, has partnered with Hutchinson Reno Lodge No. 124 to donate $2,000 to Reno County First Call For Help, an organization providing essential and life-enhancing services to residents of Reno County.

Hutchinson Reno Lodge No. 124 is a Kansas Masonic lodge dedicated to Freemasonry, the oldest surviving fraternal organization in the world, and has 94 members committed to philanthropy within the community. Some of their most notable contributions include donating to the Reno County Food Bank, the local Salvation Army, the Hutchinson Police Department, the Hutchinson Fire Department, and Bread and Cup, a ministry serving individuals and families in need of meals and fellowship.

“Our Brothers define doing good charitable work by helping the unfortunate in our community,” said Hutchinson Reno Lodge No. 124 Secretary Mark Mock. “This is why we have decided to contribute to First Call For Help this winter.”

In furthering their mission of helping individuals in need, the Brothers at Hutchinson Reno Lodge No. 124 have teamed up with the Kansas Masonic Foundation to donate $2,000 to Reno County First Call For Help. First Call For Help has been helping residents in Reno County with immediate, essential, and life-enhancing support since 1983 and has various programs available to support qualifying residents of Reno County. In 2020 alone, the organization provided services to 21,280 residents. The funds donated by Hutchinson Reno Lodge No. 124 in collaboration with the Kansas Masonic Foundation will help provide additional services to local residents, and a formal donation announcement will take place later this year.
