Kansas Masonic Foundation Supports Local Kansas Masonic Lodge With Coffeyville Community College Donation

Coffeyville, Kansas (October 21, 2021)—The Kansas Masonic Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to benefitting Kansas communities, has partnered with Keystone Lodge No. 102 to donate $2,500 to the Coffeyville Community College Women’s Softball Team, a program that educates and teaches sportsmanship to young women.

Founded in 1890, Keystone Lodge No. 102 is a Kansas Masonic Lodge dedicated to Freemasonry, the oldest surviving fraternal organization in the world. The lodge has nearly 200 members and supports various community organizations and events, including assisting Brothers, widows, and Masonic families in need. Additionally, the Brothers have supported Coffeyville Animal Without Love, the Coffeyville Memorial Hospital, the Coffeyville Police Department, and lodge members in need of assistance.

“Our Brothers define doing good charitable work by assisting Brothers, widows, and families of Masonic families, including organizations within our community that need assistance in our masonic area,” said Keystone Lodge No. 102 Junior Warden Jack Artherton.

To continue their philanthropic work and assist organizations within the local community, the Brothers at Keystone Lodge No. 102 have teamed up with the Kansas Masonic Foundation to donate $2,500 to the Coffeyville Community College Women’s Softball Team. The funds donated will continue to help educate and teach sportsmanship to young women by aiding with travel and general expenses. A formal donation announcement will take place on November 1, 2020, during halftime at the school’s upcoming basketball game.
