Kansas Masonic Foundation Supports Local Kansas Masonic Lodge With Kansas Pride Donation

Burden, Kansas (August 18, 2021)—The Kansas Masonic Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to benefitting Kansas communities, has partnered with Clinton Lodge No. 233 to donate $1,000 to Kansas Pride of Burden, Kansas, an organization dedicated to encouraging and assisting local government and volunteers in making our community a better place.

Founded in 1884, Clinton Lodge No. 233 is a Kansas Masonic lodge dedicated to Freemasonry, the oldest surviving fraternal organization in the world. The lodge has more than 30 members and does everything possible to help individuals and groups fulfill the needs of their community and school district.

“Along with the newly formed Kansas Pride of Burden, we can help the city and school children with projects that make the town a better place to live and a place we are proud to have people visit,” said Clinton Lodge No. 233 Worshipful Master William L. Abernathy.

Continuing with their mission of addressing the needs of the local community, the Brothers at Clinton Lodge No. 233 have teamed up with the Kansas Masonic Foundation to donate $1,000 to Kansas Pride of Burden. A project to restructure the basketball court at the city park was previously put on hold due to lack of funds. The funds donated will pay for concrete work to repair the basketball court.
