Kansas Masonic Foundation Supports Local Kansas Masonic Lodge With DeMolay Chapter Donation

Kansas City, Kansas (April 29, 2021)—The Kansas Masonic Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to benefiting Kansas communities, has partnered with Delaware Lodge No. 96 to donate to the Delaware Chapter of DeMolay Kansas, a Masonic youth-led organization striving to shape young men into future leaders of character.

Founded in 1870, Delaware Lodge No. 96 has nearly 100 members dedicated to philanthropy within the community. This Kansas Masonic Lodge is heavily involved in community service and supports various local causes, including supporting the local DeMolay Chapter and other youth programs in the Kansas City area like the Boy Scouts of America and Job’s Daughters International, a Masonic affiliated youth organization for girls and young women aged 10 to 20. The lodge has consistently donated to the DeMolay fraternal organization since its formation and continues to support its efforts of helping young men transform themselves into citizens of the highest caliber.

“We define doing good charitable work by being pillars of the community and helping out whenever and wherever we can,” said Delaware Lodge No. 96 Secretary Danny Newell. “This year’s donation to the Delaware Chapter of DeMolay Kansas will help send young men within the organization to Brotherhood Weekend.”

Continuing with their support of the local DeMolay program, the Brothers at Delaware Lodge No. 96 have teamed up with the Kansas Masonic Foundation to provide a monetary donation of $400 to the Delaware Chapter of DeMolay Kansas. DeMolay Chapters help transform young men into future leaders by epitomizing timeless values and accepting the challenge of leadership. Throughout the DeMolay experience, each young man generates ideas, plans events, coordinates logistics, and executes their plans under the mentorship of hand-selected trained advisors from the local community. The donated funds will be used to help send young members to Brotherhood Weekend, a fun induction weekend honoring the bonds of brotherhood.
