Neodesha, Kansas (March 22, 2021)—The Kansas Masonic Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to benefitting Kansas communities, has partnered with Harmony Lodge No. 94 to donate $1,000 to the Neodesha Food Pantry, a non-denominational faith-based community food pantry distributing groceries to local individuals in need. 

Founded in 1870, Harmony Lodge No. 94 is a Kansas Masonic lodge dedicated to Freemasonry, the oldest surviving fraternal organization in the world. The lodge has more than 60 members and supports the community through acts of service, including providing college scholarships to high school graduates, making contributions to various local food pantries, and sponsoring community events. This will be the lodge’s first donation to the Neodesha Food Pantry to aid in distributing food to underserved community members.  

“Our lodge defines doing charitable work by helping individuals or organizations who need it the most,” said Harmony Lodge No. 94 Secretary Glen Novotny. “We hope to help the community in any way we can.”

To help further this mission of helping individuals and organizations in need, the Brothers at Harmony Lodge No. 94 have teamed up with the Kansas Masonic Foundation to provide a monetary donation of $1,000 to the Neodesha Food Pantry in Wilson County, Kansas. The donation will help supply the Neodesha Food Pantry with quality groceries to be distributed to individuals of all ages throughout the community. The funds raised by the lodge, combined with matching funds from the Kansas Masonic Foundation, will be presented to the Neodesha Food Pantry at their community location.
