Kansas Masonic Foundation Supports Local Kansas Masonic Lodge With After-Prom Celebration

Eureka, Kansas (March 22, 2021)—The Kansas Masonic Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to benefitting Kansas communities, has partnered with Fidelity Lodge No. 106 to donate $400 to the Eureka Junior and Senior High School after-prom celebration, a fun and safe place for students to gather with their peers after prom hours.

Founded in 1871, Fidelity Lodge No. 106 has 88 members dedicated to philanthropy within the community. This Kansas Masonic Lodge is heavily involved in community service and supports various local causes, including donating construction materials to help patch roofs and windows following the devastation of multiple tornadoes in the community, participating in the annual Masonic Essay Contest, assisting neighboring Masonic lodges with degree work, and hosting a yearly hamburger and hotdog feed during the “Party in the Park” Independence Day event. The lodge has previously donated to the local high school after-prom celebration and continues to support community youth.

“We annually support the Eureka High School Junior and Senior Prom with donations in support of an after-prom party hosted by a committee of non-parents,” said Fidelity Lodge No. 106 Secretary Stanley Porter.

Continuing with their support of the local after-prom celebration, the Brothers at Fidelity Lodge No. 106 have teamed up with the Kansas Masonic Foundation to provide a monetary donation of $400 to Eureka Junior and Senior High School. The funds will be used to provide a safe and secure environment for young students to gather after prom hours and will help purchase food, music, prizes and provide activities like bowling, arcade games, and go-cart rides.
