Kansas Masonic Foundation Supports Local Kansas Masonic Lodge With Community Donation
Coldwater, Kansas (March 22, 2021)—The Kansas Masonic Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to benefiting Kansas communities, has partnered with Comanche Lodge No. 295 to donate $2,400 to Comanche County High School and Ashland High School students.
Founded in 1888, Comanche Lodge No. 295 currently has over 40 members dedicated to philanthropy within the community. This Kansas Masonic Lodge is heavily involved in community service and supports various local causes, including donating $5,000 to the Adult Speech, Language and Hearing Services program at Fort Hays State University, hosting cancer and hearing screenings for local community members, awarding funds to local students participating in the Masonic Essay Contest, hosting an annual community Thanksgiving meal for all individuals, and working with the Comanche County Volunteer Fire Department to install smoke alarms in all homes with residents 18 years and younger. The lodge has previously donated to local high school students and continues to support education throughout the community.
“Comanche Lodge No. 295 strives to seek out and serve the needs of individuals in the community, with an emphasis on the youth and financially disadvantaged,” said Comanche Lodge No. 295 Secretary Cecil Puderbaugh.
To further their mission of serving young individuals in the community, the Brothers at Comanche Lodge No. 295 have teamed up with the Kansas Masonic Foundation to provide a monetary donation of $2,400 to support high school students attending Comanche County High School and Ashland High School. The donation will be presented at the regularly scheduled meeting of Comanche Lodge No. 295 on May 10, 2021.
